During his address John French the District Grand Prefect for Surrey thanked the members from West Lancashire for their attendance and valued support.
A total of 110 members and guests from all around the UK attended the meeting, and 110 Brethren later enjoyed an excellent four course Banquet in the company of friends from both the District of Surrey and other Districts visiting the meeting.

After the meeting the three intrepid travellers arrived back at Euston to discover with the inside knowledge supplied by Brian Flynn (Station Master Euxton Junction) the 17.30 train waiting on Platform 5, making their way to the train only to be informed the platform was not yet open, mentioning the name of Brian Flynn, they were escorted to their seats.

The trio arrived home around 8.30pm, although a long day it had been a thoroughly enjoyable occasion.

Looking forward to our next outing!
